Kim Culhane – Technology

I am Kim Culhane and I am very excited to be the Technology Teacher at Vista Peak Exploratory. I teach a variety of skills such as video production, multimedia, Google Docs and keyboarding skills. My focus is creating a daily news show called The Bison Beat which is housed on a password protected page on my own website. I am a product of Aurora Public Schools having attended Montview Elementary, North Middle School and Hinkley High School. I have taught in Aurora for 25 years, most of it spent at Aurora Central High School. I graduated from Metropolitan State College with a Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I then furthered my education by obtaining a Masters degree in Mild/Moderate Needs from the University of Northern Colorado and then finally a Masters degree in Instructional Technology from Regis University. In my spare time, I love to camp, hike and ski and enjoy all of the wonderful outdoor resources Colorado has to offer. My goal is to teach children to have a passion for technology and use technology to create, collaborate and share their projects with a school wide audience.  Please check out our daily news show on this link, http://www.msculhane.com/bison-beat-news-show.html.  The password is vp
