Hello VPE Parents, Guardians, and Students!
We hope you all are enjoying a wonderful summer! While we certainly are enjoying summer break, we are getting very excited to see you all in a few short weeks! As we get closer to the start of the school year, we will have our full beginning of the year newsletter with plenty of information, but in the meantime, we wanted to make sure you have some key dates, times, and information to start to get you ready for the school year.
Important Dates and Times:
VPE Back to School Night and PTSA Back to School Bash: August 4th, 5:00-7:00
First Day of School Grades 1-8: August 6th
First Day of School Grades PK&K: August 12th
School Drop off and breakfast from 8:00-8:15AM
School Day 8:20-3:25. (Kindergarten and Pre-K pick up is 3:15)
Please have all students dropped off by 8:15 so they are able to start school at 8:20.
Check In Your Student for the 2025-26 School Year!
The 2025-26 school year starts soon and we want all students to be ready for the first day of class. Please complete the Annual Online Student Check-In now by visiting aurorak12.org/check-in! Parents or guardians must check in their returning students before the start of the school year.
The Annual Online Student Check-In System is a convenient way for parents and guardians to update or confirm addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts, health information, preferred language and more. If you have an email address on file with us, you should have received an email with your username. If you did not receive it, please contact your school after July 14.
